It is a full time ALS (advanced life support) station with 1 of the crew members being a paramedic.

• E-11
  • Primary Response Engine, Type 1, 1500 gpm pumper, 550 gallon water tank.
  • Complement of hose, ladders and other equipment.
  • Emergency Medical Care Equipment, including defibrillator for EMT level service.
  • This unit has All Wheel drive and carries wildland complement of equipment.
• Engine 311
  • Type III, 1250 gpm pumper, 500 gal of water.
  • 4WD Wildland response unit for Mt Diablo
  • Complement of hose, ladders and other equipment.
  • Emergency Medical Care Equipment, for BLS level service.

Response Area

The primary response area for this station includes all of the City of Clayton and part of the City of Concord/Clayton Valley area. In Concord, it includes the area around Kirker Pass Rd and Ygnacio Valley Road West to about Ayers Road and the Pine Hollow Road area.

Historical Information

Fire Station 11 was originally part of the Mt Diablo Fire Protection District and was its Station 6. The Old Firehouse was constructed in 1964.
